The weather didn’t stop Mrs Carlile’s P7 class from venturing outdoors to learn new skills during our Forest School activities. Thank you to the team from Northern Ireland Forest School Association for visiting us today to run a training session – the children had so much fun! 🌲🐞🐦⬛🌿🪵🍂🍄
The creative juices are well and truly flowing this morning as Mr Martin's P7 class attend the Fighting Words NI workshop in Belfast ✍️! The children are having a blast as they think, write and draw their own stories about Jerry the frog 🐸 and Whizz the fly 🪰!!!
It’s a busy week for P7- today they travelled back in time to the Victorian era! The children had great fun dressing up and taking part in Victorian themed activities including making peppermint creams, creating Victorian Christmas cards using traditional quills and ink, writing on slate and discovering the importance of filtration while investigating the Great Stink of London!
P7 carried out science experiments this afternoon, using red cabbage indicator to identify the pH of different solutions 🧪🔬
P7 had fun learning all about the importance of chromatography this afternoon!

P7 had great fun completing maths trails around our school grounds as part of Maths Week! It was fantastic to see the children using their numeracy skills outdoors! #MathsWeek2023 🪵➗✖️🌿
