World Book Day
Thursday 2nd March
We will be celebrating World Book Day next Thursday. We know how much the children enjoy dressing up. However, it is an option not an expectation.
There will be no set theme, which will hopefully make life a little easier!
Book tokens will given out the morning of Thursday 2nd March
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March.
We know how much the children love to dress up for this day.
However, this is not our expectation. We understand the cost of costumes and do not want to add any financial pressures on our families.
We are asking for any donations of old costumes and we will put these in foyer, with our uniforms and coats. The honesty box will be there for those who would like to donate.
Many thanks

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Stand by Me https://www.standby.me/
As you will see on the attached poster, we will be sponsoring a boy called Patrick. Throughout the year we will be getting updates in assembly on Patrick. We will be sending him a VPS T-shirt and jumper and look forward to seeing him join the school family.
As a fundraising idea, we are asking that the children bring in 5p on a Friday from now on. This does not need to be every Friday from every pupil but we know it will all add up very quickly.
We will collect all the coins in a jar and announce what has been raised at the end of each half term.
Many thanks,
Victoria Ps Charity Team
