  Appointments for 14 x Breast Screenings (ladies aged 40-49 & 70+)  book NOW through Action Cancer’s website https://appointments.actioncancer.org or by calling 028 9080 3344 Option 5.

   

  We are currently holding the appointments for Victoria Primary School staff/members/local contacts only, therefore clients will need to quote or enter this reference when booking: AEP-10674

   

  The Big Bus services now available to book:

   

  1. If you are a woman aged 40-49 or 70+, you haven’t had a mammogram in the last 2 years, been pregnant or breast-feeding in the last 6 months and have no specific breast concerns, you are eligible to make an appointment for Breast Screening on the BIG BUS. The charity is the only place in Northern Ireland for women outside of the NHS screening age range to avail of a breast screening for free, so this is a great opportunity. The screening takes only a few minutes and, for the majority of women, provides peace of mind.

   

   

  Call Action Cancer on 028 9080 3344, Option 5 (Monday – Friday 9am – 4.45pm) or visit appointments.actioncancer.org to make your appointment for either service.

   

   

   

  VISITING THE BUS & PHOTO-CALLS

   

  We appreciate that, as the Big Bus host, you may wish to pay a brief visit and/or take some photos on the day. However, in order to ensure our clinics run to schedule, and to protect client confidentiality, we can only accommodate this at specific times.

   

  Exterior shots

  You are welcome to set up any photographs outside the Bus during these times:

  8.45am-9.15am *Action Cancer staff members may be available for a few minutes from 9am*

   

  12.45-1.15pm. *Action Cancer staff members may be available for a few minutes from 1pm*

   

  Interior shots

  If you would like to have a look around the inside of the Bus and take some photos, this can sometimes be facilitated towards the end of our clinic set-up time from 9.00 - 9.15am

   

  We would value some advance notice if you do plan to visit at any of these times, so our staff know to expect you. Please be aware that our priority on the day is the smooth running of client appointments, so it may not always be possible to accommodate all requests.
