After school badminton has come to an end. A tournament was held on Monday to find out Victoria's best badminton player.
Well done to the winners!
This week marks Anti Bullying week. We are doing lots of activities in school to promote this.
Each year group is doing work to encourage children how to react if they are being bullied or witness any bullying.
This morning we were visited by Anne and Dorothy from the NSPCC who spoke to the children all about Childline. They introduced their friend Buddy and informed the children how they can use childline if they are feeling sad or unhappy.
They also held workshops for the P6 classes to ensure that they know that they have the right to stay safe and what to do if they don't.
Childline can be contacted on 0800 1111 or at www.childline.org.uk/buddy
You are now able to download the school website to your phone and have it on your home screen. We would love you to do this as this way you can keep up to date with all that is going on at Victoria.
Please see the photos below for instructions on how to save the school website to your phone.
We had a great day in school today supporting Children in Need. Boys and Girls came into school dressed as their favourite superhero!
Lots of of fun was had and more importantly lots of money was raised for a good cause.

The children in the Eco Council have worked hard with Mrs Shaw and Miss Jordan to decide their first project:
Cash For Clobber!
We are asking if you have any old clothes or shoes that you no longer want., that instead of throwing them away, please donate them to the school. A Cash for Clobber bag will come home with your child and then you can fill this up. These bags can then be returned to school from Monday 23rd November. The clothes you donate will then be processed and sent to help people in the developing world.
For every kilogram of clothes that are collected the school will receive 40p which we hope to put towards creating an outdoor classroom.
Hopefully we can collect lots and have a very successful cash for clobber.
