Our Key Stage 1 children have had lots of fun today getting outside to celebrate Outdoor Classroom Day! #outdoorclassroomday

Key stage 1 have been taking part in STEM activities and learning about spider webs. We have looked at the importance of flexibility and strength, and how spider webs have influenced the design of many products that we use every day. The children were set the challenge of designing and engineering a spider web of their own, and they did not disappoint! I think we have a few budding engineers in KS1. Β πŸ•ΈπŸ•·

P3 had fun taking an autumn walk around the school grounds and writing about what they could see, hear, smell and feel. We also got to visit the outdoor classroom and explore our autumn leaves πŸ‚
