P3 have been enjoying our animal topic! During activity based learning, the children had fun making shelters for the animals, calculating the length of different animals, and painting! 🎨🦍🦒🐊🐅
We love playing team Numeracy games in P3 together.
This is Anti-Bullying Week and our P7 ambassadors have been helping encourage everyone to think about the importance of ‘One Kind Word’ 😊 Yesterday they visited P3 with their photo booth!
P3 had fun learning about why leaves change colour in autumn 🍂🍁. They carried out a science investigation using chromatography to explore the colorful pigments leaves have hidden inside of them.🔬
Our Key Stage 1 children have had lots of fun today getting outside to celebrate Outdoor Classroom Day! #outdoorclassroomday
Key stage 1 have been taking part in STEM activities and learning about spider webs. We have looked at the importance of flexibility and strength, and how spider webs have influenced the design of many products that we use every day. The children were set the challenge of designing and engineering a spider web of their own, and they did not disappoint! I think we have a few budding engineers in KS1. 🕸🕷
P3 had fun taking an autumn walk around the school grounds and writing about what they could see, hear, smell and feel. We also got to visit the outdoor classroom and explore our autumn leaves 🍂
